The story behind the camera

 I'm Heta, a 24 year old photographer, art and music lover.

I am often asked where my photography journey started. My identity as a photographer dates back to childhood, when I was curious to observe and express the world around me. However, I lacked the expressive skills I valued, from painting to music. Eventually I got my hands on a camera and that's where I am now. I've been doing this for clients since 2017, and I've been photographing weddings for a few years. Nowadays, alongside entrepreneurship, I'm also studying communication studies at the University.

I am fascinated by the aesthetics of life, human interaction and emotions. They are followed by quick fleeting moments, small gestures and glances. My passion is to observe these things and capture them on screen. When I meet a couple in love, I want to show with my images what they feel for each other deep inside. When photographing a family together, I want to capture those quick, important events in the midst of hectic lives. 

I would describe myself as an enthusiastic person. I tend to dive into situations through fun and silliness and I enjoy social situations. I have a straightforward approach: in shoots I guide and support my clients with a gentle and human grip, according to their needs. 

My business reflects my own need to create stories and meanings for things. In addition to photography, I value meeting people in my work, I learn a lot from them. Photography, stories, meeting people and of course love. In addition, the length and intensity of the wedding day helps me to understand and see more of my clients at that moment.
